Why Did HBO Create Max?

If you’re a fan of the shows on HBO, then you’ll probably love the stuff that’s on Max. The downside is that this is a very general library and doesn’t cater to any specific type of viewer. Another positive is that you can watch it on all your devices.

Whether you want to watch on your computer, smartphone, or TV, HBO Max has you covered. The downside is that there is no option for offline viewing, so you’ll need a constant internet connection to watch anything.

Cons - HBO Max Streaming Review

The first thing that comes to mind when we discuss the disadvantages of HBO Max is the cost. With all these added features, the price is only going to go up. Although HBO Max is currently a standalone service, it’s unclear how much it will cost in the long run and whether or not it will be worth the price.

Another downside is that the service doesn’t have a ton of original content.

While all the HBO shows are great, there’s nothing new and exciting that you can only access through Max. If you’re looking for something that is released solely on the Max platform, you’re out of luck.
